Sheridan College Initiates New Plan to End Discrimination
Racial tension on the Sheridan College campus has pushed staff to incorporate ways to keep students safe.
Six weeks ago a racially motivated message was found here on Sheridan College outside of a dorm room. Staff responded and said they hope it never happens again.
President of Sheridan College, Dr. Paul Young told News 13, “We have some issues and the way we handle our issues is we confront them and we try to make the place better for everyone.”
Campus staff has come up with an action plan after three incidents on campus involving Native American students.
